Deadline for space reservation is the 11th of the preceding month.
 
Distribution

Berkshire HomeStyle is distributed at the beginning of each month throughout the region (please see our Region Map), and it is simultaneously published online.
 
Terms & Conditions

First-time advertisers must pre-pay the first insertion and supply standard credit information (bank information and three trade references). Once credit is established, subsequent insertions will be invoiced. 3% discount is applicable for all pre-paid orders. Invoice terms: 2% 10, Net 30 days. Invoices are considered past due if not paid within 60 days. We reserve the right to add 1% per month finance charge to any invoices that remain unpaid beyond sixty days.

Ad Specifications

We are on a Macintosh platform and can accept files from any cross-platform applications (as listed below).

Camera Ready B&W Ads:
85 line screen; 300 dpi scanner resolution; 600 dpi (or higher) laser output.

4-color Ads:
(subject ot additional charge of 20% - ALWAYS provide color match)

85 line screen; 300 dpi scanner resolution.

Film:

Output right reading emulsion side down (RRESD), ready for non-heat set web press (i.e. no 100% black coverage).

HomeStyle Applications:

Ads may be sent by email to ads@berkshirehomestyle.com as well as on a Zip disk or CD-ROM and MUST be accompanied by a camera-ready hard copy. Include all files for job (picture files, fonts, text, color info, etc.):

  Applications we DO NOT have include:

     Adobe Pagemaker (can use pdf from Pagemaker 6.5)

Formatting:

We stongly suggest that ads be sent either as Quark documents or as PDF's. Please avoid sending any text or logos as either jpegs or tiffs. These formats ar fine for images but do not support text or line art (logos); as a result the text or logos will print fuzzy. All Quark documents must have the accompanying fonts and images provided as well.
